I'm especially proud today to shout out the Tipton Fire Department.

Our agency is honored to be the main sponsor of the Tipton Fire and Police Golf Outing ⛳️ and for me personally, this one is close to my heart.

My dad was a firefighter, and I come from a long history of first responders in my family. I grew up seeing the kind of sacrifice, dedication, and heart it takes to answer the call when your community needs you.

And lately, our first responders have certainly been needed. Through the recent storms and flooding, they’ve been out there helping our community when conditions were at their worst. We are immensely grateful 🙏🏼

So to the Tipton Fire Department, and all of our local first responders- thank you. Thank you for showing up, for serving, and for taking care of our community. We’re so proud to support you, and, of course, excited to tee off together 🖤❤️🖤💙🖤

This evening, members of L1979 attended the Annual Tipton High School Football “Corn and Watermelon” night. THS kicks off their season at home against Frankton @ 7PM on August 21. Be sure to get out and support the Blue Devils! Good luck this season.

The Tipton FOP Lodge #109 & Tipton Professional Fire Fighters Local 1979 are proud to announce the 2nd Annual Police vs. Fire Golf Outing, happening on October 3rd at 10:00 AM (check-in begins at 9:00 AM).

Eligibility:
Teams must consist of 4 members

Free contest entries included:
- Closest to the Pin – Prize: Ghost Golf Bag
- Longest Drive – Prize: Taylormade Sim 2 & Taylormade Kalea Gold

Thank you all for coming to the Tipton City Pool and hanging out with members of Local 1979! We enjoyed being in the sun (and pool) with you!
