Battle Buddy Compassionate Care
Battle Buddy Compassionate Care was developed after a need was identified regarding Military Veterans and their overall wellbeing and mental health. With over 22 suicides daily the time is now to reach out to our Military Veterans with open arms. That is the purpose of this organization; to provide a safe place for veterans to go, with our overall goal being 0 suicides daily. This ideology is the cornerstone for this organization, and something Tracy Sellers found as an important need within the community.
After spending ten years on active duty and while serving in the military, her passion to help her brothers and sisters in arms was evident in the work she has and continues to provide to our servicemen and women. Tracy Sellers served overseas 9/10 years, serving in South Korea, Hawaii, Iraq, California, and Lisbon, Portugal.
Tracy Sellers is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Ohio (LMFT #M.1900023-TEMP), and has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families, working in groups or by providing individual counseling. Tracy has worked with a wide variety of clients, including Military Veterans and their families, those within the LGBTQ+ community, and those with diverse cultures and backgrounds. Although Tracy is a native to Dayton, Ohio, she has lived all over the world during her time in the United States Army.
Tracy completed her Master’s program with California Southern University, with ungraduated studies completed while on active duty, and with the University of Maryland, University College; both degrees completed in Psychology. She is now currently enrolled and pursing a PhD in Psychology through Walden University.
