Reach Out International Mission:

To help communities in El Salvador overcome physical and spiritual poverty through education and relief initiatives. Phillipians 2:3-4

Vision:

For all people to know God and experience transformation in their communities. Reach Out International was born after Lauren served in El Salvador as a missionary and realized that there are many amazing people who love their local community and are willing to do whatever it takes to make it a better place, yet lacked the necessary resources and/or skills to implement these dreams. With the encouragement of her father, and the desire planted in her now husband's heart, ROI was created in order to be an advocate for the local people and a bridge between those who have the resources/skills and connect them with the ones in need. We believe in offering a hand-up to create sustainability and dignity to those who we come alongside and serve with. We aim to practice the works spoken in Philippians 2:3-4 by being humble and considering others better than ourselves and looking to others needs and not just our own.

A majority of our mission's focus is on the children. Be in prayer with us this week over the students, specifically, that this generation would come to know Christ.

"See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven." Matthew 18:10 ESV.

We know that prayer is powerful. The culture of prayer on the island is powerful. We know that same power can be found in your own home today.

Join with us in prayer as we continue to reach people for Christ on the island. Sit in this moment with God, ask Him to draw His people to Himself.

Many testimonies come out of mission trips, some we hear, and some we will hear in Heaven. We are grateful to have this impact story from a recent missionary.

"We were able to do a house visit with a woman and bring a food basket. We shared with her about Hagar and how God met her in the wilderness. We reminded her that God sees her tears, and that she isn’t alone. She ended up getting very emotional and sharing with us that her mother left for the United States 22 years ago, and that she has felt alone, overlooked, and forgotten ever since. She was so grateful for our visit and timely word.“ [Nikki Koopman]

God knows exactly what needs to be said at the right time, and we are grateful Nikki was obedient in sharing this message so that this daughter of God could feel peace and the removal of loneliness after 22 years of suffering.

Thank you Ginghamsburg youth students! We are grateful for the ministry we could partner with you in.

We love hosting missions teams, and our ministry couldn't operate without them. If this is a burden on your heart, please email [email protected] for more information on becoming a missionary, or supporting the missions house.

The youth students from Ginghamsburg Church came to the island this past week, and we are grateful for their willingness to serve!

From home visits, to helping with some physical repair work on the church, these students poured their hearts out to the people. We couldn’t do the missions we do without the help of short-term teams like these students.

More updates from their mission to come!
