CDL Trainers Wanted we have Full-Time, Part-Time, and Casual Positions available. Locations: 776 Greenville Rd Mercer, PA 16137.

Pay rate will be based on experience. $18-$21 Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for an interview: 2+ years CDL, Pennsylvania State Police background clearance, a clean motor vehicle record, and a resume. If hired, we will provide any necessary CDL updates or reinstatements. We encourage experienced applicants to apply, even if their CDL is not current. Our ideal candidates possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork. What is teaching CDL drivers like? It’s not difficult! It is creating a comfortable supportive learning environment for new commercial drivers so they can learn how to begin operating commercial vehicles. You are not completely teaching a person how to drive as they already know how to drive a car and know roadway rules. It’s expanding their existing driving knowledge to commercial driving. This is entry level training and we are teaching the basics of safety and driving skill so they can enter this industry as qualified drivers. It’s about quality instruction so beginner commercial drivers are ready to enter the roadway in a safe way. The rate of CMV accidents is high so what we do is follow the federal regulations to help decrease the risk. If you have experience you can teach and we teach you a very specific method of one on one instruction to make sure every driver coming through is properly trained and proficient in beginning skills of driving a commercial motor vehicle. There is no guess work. It is not as intimidating as it sounds. So come share your experience with others and teach people how to operate safely in our program! Our instructors teach in a parking lot and ride with drivers. It’s not stressful you know exactly how to do this if you’ve had a couple years experience. We are looking to hire all positions in our Mercer location and casual positions in our Tionesta location. It’s official the CDL test will be changing!
We do not have a date yet of the launch but our Examiners will start the new training in April to learn the new testing module.
