Look up!! Redemption Is Drawing Near!

Jesus reminds the believers in Luke 21:28, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

The world around us may give us plenty of reasons to be discouraged, fearful, or distracted, but the believer has a reason to look up. Our hope is not found in the things this world has to offer, but rather it is found in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are not waiting for the world to get better; we know it will continue to grow worse and worse; but we should be anticipating, waiting, and actively looking for our Saviour to come again!

More than ever we should live with our eyes on Christ and our hearts ready for His return.

Romans 13:11 says, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”

One thing is for certain, that Every passing day brings us one day closer to the coming of Christ. So keep serving, keep witnessing, keep praying, and keep looking up because truly the day of redemption is drawing nigh!

Are you wondering if The Best Days Are Ahead and Yet to Come?

Sometimes we look at where we have been, the life we have lived, and wonder if our best days are already behind us.

God reminded the believer that He is not finished with us yet.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Jeremiah 29:11

Your past may have had failures, be riddled with disappointments, and difficult seasons, but the question is, are you willing to surrender to allowing God to continue writing your story?

It’s encouraging to know we can face tomorrow with confidence because our hope is not in our circumstances but rather it is in Jesus who is faithful and unfailing.

“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”
Proverbs 4:18

Keep walking, keep trusting, and keep serving because the best God has for you may not have happened yet. It may just be that your best days really are still ahead!
