This week, we proudly celebrate EMS Week and recognize the dedicated members of the Tioga Volunteer Ambulance Association who answer the call day and night for our community.

Whether it’s a medical emergency, accident, lift assist, or simply being there during someone’s worst moment, our EMS providers show compassion, professionalism, and commitment every single day. These volunteers and providers sacrifice time with their families, sleepless nights, holidays, and countless hours of training to help others without hesitation.

Thank you to every EMT, paramedic, driver, dispatcher, and support member who keeps our ambulance service running strong. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and our community is better because of you.

If you see a member of the ambulance association this week, take a moment to thank them for all they do. Happy EMS Week to the incredible team serving Tioga and the surrounding communities! 🚑💙

A big thank you to Kristen Loucks and Greg Button for standing by with EMS during Mondays nights drill. Lawrenceville fire department hosted a training night involving company’s from Elkland, Tioga and Millerton. Fire training involved advancing hose line, searching and a victim rescue scenario. I would like to thank department 8 for the invite and continued training opportunities between all our mutual aid company’s.

Tioga Firemen's Ambulance and Wellsboro ALS were dispatched to a location in Tioga Township for a reported victim of a horse related accident.

🚑Ambulance 7-6, Chief 7-60, Chief 7-70 responded to the scene and requested air medical a short time later. After Guthrie Air medical accepted, they were requested to land at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Tioga.

🚒Tioga Fire Dept was dispatched to establish a landing zone for Guthrie Air. Engine 7-1 responded just moments later and established/secured the landing zone for the helicopter to safely land.

🚨Tioga Firemen's Ambulance was dispatched to a residence on the Ridge Rd in Middlebury Township for a medical emergency. Ambulance 7-6, Chief 7, Chief 7-30 responded to the scene and a short time later requested air medical to land at the Tabernacle Church in Tioga Township.

🚨TVFD was dispatched to establish a landing zone for Guthrie Air at the Tabernacle Church. Tioga Fire personnel with the assistance of rescue 11-8 established a landing zone.
