COA Crayons COA Crayons are crayons for children of all abilities. They are made by communities for communities! All proceeds go towards Chenga Ose Association.

COA Crayons is a project started to support Chenga Ose Association open the doors to a new school for individual's with special needs in Zimbabwe, Africa. This project's goal is to bring together groups from the community to promote inclusiveness through creating adapted crayons. Groups or individual's have the opportunity to collect new, used, or broken crayons and turn them into fun, creative, a

dapted crayons for individuals of all abilities. These crayons will be donated to Chenga Ose Association's first classrooms and will be sold to raise funds for continued support as they build and expand their school. COA has one main man where it all began and today we celebrate all his abilities and more! 🙌🏽

Today is World Cerebral Palsy Day. This is a social movement and a day to celebrate and affirm the lives of the over 17 million people living with cerebral palsy (CP) in the world. Launched in 2012 by Cerebral Palsy Alliance (Australia) and United Cerebral Palsy (USA,it is supported by various groups from 65 countries.
As COA we are proud to be associated with the day because of two reasons. Many of our children have CP and that the concept of support groups was birthed by parents of children with CP. As we reflect on CP today, may we remember to create enabling environments for both prevention and rehabilitation. Most cases of CP in Zimbabwe can be reduced by providing better maternal health care,ensuring quality access to prenatal and post natal care.
On this day we also lobby for early interventions to provide better lives for our children.Resources should be set aside for their education, social life, health and rehabilitation needs. Information should be easily available as well as supports. More needs to be done for those with CP in Zimbabwe to improve quality of life and that is why we exist as COA.
