The Barnett-Searing National Cancer Foundation For over 20 years, our mission is to stand alongside women facing cancer, offering care and support. Kits include handmade cards created by BSNCF supporters.

For 21 years, BSNCF has supported women of all ages impacted by cancer and the loved ones who care for them providing unexpected acts of kindness positively impacting their emotional and physical health. Our "Smile Kit" program sends care packages to female cancer patients all over the US. This year we have sent kits to patients in 48 states thanks to your donations and those of our corporate part

ners. If you would like to nominate someone to receive a Smile Kit, donate, or help create cards, please see our website. The Barnett-Searing National Cancer Foundation was created as a direct result of the loss of two special ladies, Jenny Searing and Mary Barnett, to cancers below the belt. Wanting to carry on their legacy, the founders of BSNCF wanted to create a charity where they could give back and keep the light of these two women shining in the community.

"Thank you, everyone who joined Team Valerie this past weekend to help send “smiles across the miles“ through The Barnett-Searing National Cancer Foundation. One of the many things this organization does to support those with cancer is to send Smile Bags when one is requested. A friend requested a Smile Bag for me when I was first diagnosed, and receiving it helped turn my despair into hope. Because of your incredible kindness and support this weekend, we are now able to pass that same hope along to many others walking this difficult path. From BSNCF co-Founder John: Today I completed the first leg of the 2026 Barnett-Searing National Cancer Foundation Thriver Run/Walk Chairman’s Challenge. The challenge consists of completing a 10K, 5K, and 1-mile run or walk during the virtual event held each May.
As Chairman of BSNCF, I am proud to honor those who have received a cancer diagnosis and the loved ones who walk beside them every step of the way. Today’s 6.2 miles were completed in memory of Jenny
