Maryland’s largest aquarium event is here!

This December marks the final event for 2024 from the Maryland Aquarium Hobbyists club! This event promotes education and sustainability within our hobby, while also supporting local business!

About our event:
✅ Prizes! Just for walking in, you get two free tickets towards any prizes! Additional tickets available for purchase!

✅ Food! Blue Point Crab House is providing food for our vendors and guests! Additionally, Fresh Squeezed Please will have a lemonade and hot chocolate bar!

✅ Guest Speaker Mark Hendricks will be discussing underwater photography and habitat conservation. Mark is an award winning photographer and published author, featured in the Washington Post, National Geographic, and more!!

We’re in Arizona!

Thank you to everyone who made the time to sign this club shirt. A huge thank you to Fintastic Aquariums and the Cichlid Club of York for making this shirt accessible for people to sign over the past month.

This shirt is dedicated to the Solis family. They are the reason why we have our club mascot, Frank the pufferfish! But beyond that, they have dedicated themselves to growing, supporting, and protecting the community around them. These are the values that we base our club on, these are the values they live by.

So this shirt was meant to emphasize that they are not alone as they started a new fight, fighting a lung cancer diagnosis. But amazingly, the week that we were preparing for this trip they received the news that the cancer is now in remission. While the future is never certain, this turned our trip to Arizona to deliver the shirt into a celebration of great news!

We celebrate the Solis family and everyone who makes our community so impactful. While we no longer live in the same state, they are still stuck with us!!

We are one of the largest Maryland aquarium clubs! Join us at one of aquarium club meetings!

Please sign our shirt! This Maryland Aquarium Hobbyists shirt is dedicated to a friend of mine who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Iung cancer. Fintastic Aquariums Of Frederick has agreed to hold onto our shirt for the rest of the month to give our community a chance to stop by and sign it!

This friend is the reason why we have our club mascot, Frank the puffer! I would really love to see our come together to support a fellow member
