The Foundation hopes everyone had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. Most everyone that knew Kayla knows about her outpouring love for animals. The Kayla Gilbert Foundation is very proud to announce that we are joining forces with Anchor Paw’s Rescue. My great friend for almost 40 years Paul Vanasse founded this rescue several years ago to help rescue and find homes for animals in need. Anchor Paw’s Rescue has been more then extremely successful with their rescues and placements. This type of operation is very costly to say the least. If anyone would like to make a donation in Kayla’s name and memory here is some information on this organization. Anchor Paw’s Rescue is a true 501c non profit rescue. For all donations $25 and over you can send your name and address to the Blackrock Rd address or email it to [email protected] for your official donation letter for tax purposes. Kayla and Paul spoke often about the organization and Kayla was so very proud to say she knew Paul and happy that his rescue was doing something Kayla one day planned to do.
