Black Farmers and Agriculturalists Association, Tillery, NC (www.bfaa4us.org) is a national, member based grass roots organization organized initially around fighting for black farmers who had been discriminated against by the US Department of Agriculture. We continue to fight for justice for the black farmer and all small producers world wide.

For those of you knew Edgar J Hicks, you know how amazing he was. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

With great sadness, I wish to inform you all that Anna Hicks called last night to tell me Edgar Hicks, the true founder of KBFA, 25 years ago, passed away last night. I cannot wrap my head around this, as he joined us on Facebook Live to watch the camp this past Thursday. I will keep you informed. Their children and other family members surround her. Keep them in your prayers. KBFA will never be the same without his amazing mentorship.
