I want to take a moment today to remind you of something that can get buried under the weight of a long wait or a hard season. God is not like the people who made you promises and didn't keep them. He is not a God who changes His mind based on how things are going or how well you have been performing. Numbers 23:19 makes it plain. He has spoken and He will act. He has promised and He will carry it through.
The enemy's most effective strategy is rarely to get us to reject Scripture outright. It is to quietly convince us that it is irrelevant to our particular situation. That too much time has passed. That too much has gone wrong. That the promise was perhaps for someone else.
That is a lie. God set the promise before you. He secured it for you in Christ. And He is waiting for you to lay hold of what He has already given.
He said it. He will do it. He will come through.
