The Tillamook County Cultural Coalition is excited to announce that our 2024 grant cycle is now open.

We are looking to fund projects that fall under the following categories:

-EDUCATION: Projects relating to cultural education in grades K-12, and the greater community.
-COMMUNITY ARTS: Projects relating to a county-wide cultural event.
-HERITAGE: Projects relating to documenting history or restoration.
-ENVIRONMENT: Projects relating to open space and natural beauty.
-TRADITIONS: Projects relating to traditional arts and food culture.

The deadline to submit a grant application is December 31, 2023.

In the 2023 grant cycle, the Tillamook County Cultural Coalition awarded funding to 4 local entitites including: Port of Garibaldi, Chalk & Cloud, Nehalem Valley Historical Society and Bay City Arts Center for various projects.

Check out this completed project from one of our 2023 grant recipients - Chalk & Cloud. This summer a 4-sided mural was hand painted by artist Odessa Kaufman at the Port of Garibaldi.

Our new grant cylce is coming up quickly. Applications will be available on our website very soon!

The deadline to complete the application will be December 31st and our 2024 recipients will be chosen by mid January.

🎨 The Tillamook Area Chamber of Commerce will be chartering 8 highly visible public wall art installations on downtown properties. These 8-foot by 3-foot art pieces will represent the culture and elements of our local natural resources - agriculture,🌿 forest, 🪵waterways. 🌊

Concept drawing submission deadline is quickly approaching! Have your concept drawing on an 8.5x11” paper that provides a visual display of your design in to Justin at the Chamber by January 31. 🖌️

Selected artists will be given a proper substrate and compensated $1,000 per art piece. 💰
