Art in the Burbs

Art in the Burbs Art in the Burbs is run by The Foundation (the-ftts.org) to raise funds for the arts in schools.

Annual art show run by volunteers of The Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools.

20% of sales goes to fund art education in all 16 of the Tigard Tualatin school district schools. More than 60 participating artists from the Northwest specializing in jewelry, clay, textiles, glass, wood, exterior/garden, photography and various hanging medium artists. You won't want to miss this amazing show that benefits keeping the arts an important part of the education process.

June 25th is coming fast — if you're an artist who's been meaning to apply, this is your weekly reminder to do it! 😊

Whether you work in ceramics, jewelry, glass, textiles, wood, or something totally unique, we'd love to see what you create. Booth fees are just $100–$150, and every dollar supports arts education in Tigard & Tualatin schools.

If you've been thinking about applying to Art in the Burbs, now's the time to go for it! The artist application deadline is June 25th, and any applications received after that date will be placed on a waitlist.

We accept artists in a wide range of categories — ceramics, glass, jewelry, textiles, wood, cards/journals, exterior art, hanging art, and alternative mediums. If you make it, we want to see it!

Do you work in ceramics, jewelry, glass, textiles, wood, paper goods, painting, or another artistic medium? We'd love to have you at Art in the Burbs this November!

Our artist application is open and it's quick to fill out. Submit photos of your work and booth, pick your preferred booth size, and you're done. New artists are always welcome — and we'd love to meet you!

🎨 Artists, this one's for you!

Applications are now open for Art in the Burbs 2026 — our beloved juried art show at Tigard High School on November 7 & 8! We're looking for talented artists in ceramics, jewelry, glass, textiles, wood, cards, mixed media, and more who are excited to donate a portion of sales to support much-needed arts programs in 17 schools.

Booth fees are just $100–$150, and this is a wonderful community event celebrating 26 years of supporting arts education in Tigard & Tualatin schools.

Thanks to shoppers and artists at Art in the Burbs, Bridgeport Elementary students brought a fun musical to life this spring! Your support helped fund 100% of the staffing costs for this joyful school musical — giving over 60 young performers, costume designers, and set creators a chance to shine. The entire school community (all 520 students!) joined in the excitement, from cheering in the audience to crafting signs and helping backstage. Students discovered confidence, leadership, creativity, and the thrill of teamwork — and they can’t wait to do it again next year! 💜
