UGA Tifton’s Senior class visited Berrien County High School’s agricultural department today.

Between the engaging lessons, top-tier facilities, and much needed advice, we were blown away!

Thank you to Mr. Kendrick and Ms. Carr for allowing us to observe your classrooms. Mr. Kendrick teaches Ag. Mech and Wildlife. Ms. Carr teaches Basic Agriculture and Horticulture. Ms. Carr graduated from UGA in May so this was a unique experience for our students.

Leave room in your wagon, and your garden, for a few extra plant selections! UGA Tifton’s Plant Sale offers a wide array of choices such as tomatoes (10 different varieties) and several flowering plants. This annual event supports UGA Tifton's Collegiate FFA Chapter and Horticulture Club. It also helps sustain instruction in greenhouse management for future students on our campus!

Do you like a little friendly competition? What makes it better, is when food is involved! Join us at our meeting today from 11:30-1:00pm to find yourselves drenched in several different styles of chili, a variety of cornbread and even a 12 layer chocolate cake!
