“When I was diagnosed with lupus at 12, I never imagined my story would one day help others.” 💜
Janya “Nya” Sims, a fourth-year medical student at Morehouse School of Medicine, is using her journey with lupus to fuel her advocacy and her purpose.
This Lupus Awareness Month, she served as a keynote speaker, a RheumChampion and a voice for rural patients who often go unheard.
