Good Morning Pre-Vet Club, We just wanted to say thank you to all of the members, new and returning, for coming out and visiting our table at club rush and attending our first club meeting of the semester. We had an amazing turnout with more than 110 students in attendance! Again, we thank you, we are so glad you all could join us and appreciate you all for stopping and taking pictures! 💛💚

Our members were also busy this past summer, here is what some of them took part in:
Clara Pecunia - "I participated in UGA's summer vet camp. It was a week-long program where I got to experience life as a vet student living in the dorms, exploring the UGA teaching hospital, and learning practical veterinarian skills. We also went on field trips to the Georgia Aquarium and Medieval Times. In the pictures I am practicing suturing and feeling the inside of a cow's stomach to harvest beneficial gut bacteria."

Jakeeria Kitchen - "This summer, I shadowed at Faulkville Animal Hospital in Bloomingdale, Georgia, and Carter Veterinary Services in Hardeeville, South Carolina, where I gained valuable hands-on experience working with both small and large animals. It was an incredible opportunity to strengthen my veterinary skills while earning valuable supervised veterinary experience hours as I continue preparing for veterinary school!"

Hannah Rudolph - "I spent my summer as a shooting instructor at Camp Woodie in Pinewood, SC teaching campers aged 7-16 range and firearm safety."
