What a beautiful day for the 19th Annual Jay Deason Memorial Golf Tournament at Spring Hill Country Club!
After last week’s rain postponement, we were thankful for the rain and even more thankful for today’s beautiful weather and another tremendous turnout, with everyone showing back up in a big way.
Most importantly, with this year’s event, the Jay Deason Fund has now surpassed $250,000 NET raised and reinvested directly back into local youth-based causes since 2007. That is an incredible milestone for a grassroots, volunteer-led event, and it simply would not be possible without our loyal sponsors, dedicated volunteers, players, and supporters who continue believing in this mission year after year.
We are incredibly thankful for all of the local organizations and charitable causes we’re able to support that work so hard every day to improve the lives of local youth and families throughout our community.
A very special thank you goes out to Georgia Best Foods for not only sponsoring and having lunch ready to go for last week’s original tournament date, but also coming back out today and feeding everyone again after the reschedule. Their generosity helps save valuable tournament dollars so even more funds can go directly back into our local community.
Another special thank you goes to Southern Drawl for donating this year’s tournament t-shirts. The shirts turned out awesome, and their support was another huge help to the success of this year’s event.
We also want to thank Spring Hill Country Club, all of our sponsors, volunteers, donors, and teams who continue to support this tournament and help us honor Jay’s memory in such a meaningful way.
