Check out the growth of this radish plant in Berg WasteWise's compost! We used food waste from Hoernemann to make our compost and tested it by planting this little guy about 2 weeks ago. Our LATEST collecting day at Hoernamann Refectory was an absolute SUCCESS! We talked with fellow students about our organization and gathered a grand total just north of 20 POUNDS of compostable items to use for our very own compost bin!

Our bin cultivates organic compost made purely from scraps that would otherwise be wasted. Join us and tackle the overwhelming obstacle of food waste by transforming it into nutrient-rich compost that supports environmental health and promotes sustainable practices!🌱
