The John L. and Mary I. Eichhorn Family Scholarship Fund was established in memory of their daughter, Carol Eichhorn. Carol graduated from Calvert High School in 1978, earned a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, and began her career as a physical therapist.
Reflecting the Eichhorn family’s strong belief in Catholic education, this scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from Calvert Catholic Schools who plans to pursue a degree in a medical profession. The trustees select a recipient who demonstrates Carol’s values of service, compassion, and dignity in caring for those with impaired health, along with a desire to bring healing and support to people in need.
We congratulate Cohen Stull, recipient of this year’s scholarship.

The Daniel Wood “Woody” Memorial Scholarship Fund has been dedicated to the memory of the late Daniel Wood and is awarded annually to Tiffin Columbian High School seniors participating in Columbian Athletics. Congratulations to Gabriella Conley and John Bremyer, the 2026 winners. Daniel Wood graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 2012 where he enjoyed playing football and baseball. He was an extremely hard worker, the ultimate jokester, a true entrepreneur and always set the highest expectations for himself and those around him. Not only did he put his heart and soul into everything he put his mind to, but he also put that same energy into his family and friends. He was, by far, the best father, son, brother, uncle, family member and friend that anyone could have ever asked for. Thank you to Daniel's family and friends for making this scholarship possible.
