Student's from New Riegel Schools used our "Lake Erie Starts Here" stencils to mark storm drains in Tiffin on Thursday morning. They will be marking more drains at New Riegel Schools next week. Thank you for your hard work!!

Let's work to keep pollution out of our drains, the Sandusky River, and Lake Erie!

If you know a group looking for service hours don't hesitate to reach out and you can mark some storm drains too.

This evening I had the opportunity to attend the Sandusky River Watershed Coalition’s annual meeting, and it was a great reminder of how much dedicated work is happening to protect and improve our local waterways.

Councilwoman Ashlee Decker delivered an excellent and informative presentation, highlighting both the progress made and the work still ahead. Watershed Coordinator Jakob Boehler did a fantastic job updating everyone on all the projects and events happening.

Thank you to everyone involved for your commitment to preserving the Sandusky River and supporting our community’s environmental health.

Be sure to mark your calendars for the next Tiffin Sandusky River clean sweep September 12.
