TYSA Rookie Division

TYSA Rookie Division Youth baseball program for boys and girls ages 5 to 8. Designed for fun and introduction to pitching and basic fundamentals of the game.

TYSA Rookie Division began in 2008 as a way to introduce young players to the game of baseball through the concept of Coach Pitch. Players are thought the basics of the game, learning where to throw the ball and runners knowing where to run. Our goal is to move away from only running from base to base per batter. Fielder will learn the concept of getting outs. The Rookie Division is part of the Tiffin Youth Sports Association.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE.

The commissioner will work to get all teams formed, coaches will be informed of rosters and will contact their teams.

August 1st - PRACTICES START (tentative)

If anyone is interested in helping out with the Rookie Division please reach out to a board member or through this page.

We are in need of someone who might be interested in being the commissioner of our Rookie division. Someone who can bring some new ideas and also make the game and environment fun and exciting for our younger players. If you would be interested in taking on this role, please reach out through this page or via contacting one of our board members.
The organization is also looking for anyone interested in coaching, umpiring or might be interested in being a board member and willing to help out with the league in any way possible.
