**UPDATE** - COMMISSIONER NEEDED-
We are in need of a commissioner for our fall ball program for the Rookie Division. Once this is in place we can get this division moving for the fall. FALL BALL is BACK!!!!!

Tiffin Youth Sports Association is proud to announce that Fall Baseball leagues are coming this season.

Anyone who is in grades K-8th (the grade you are entering this year) is welcome to come participate in our Fall Baseball Leagues this season.

Age Breakdowns:

TYSA Rookie Division -- (Coach Pitch) - Grades K-2nd Grade

TYSA Minor Division Baseball - Grades 3 through 5

TYSA Major Baseball Division - Grades 6 through 8

Costs:

TYSA Rookie Division - $35

TYSA Minor Division Baseball - $40

TYSA Major Baseball Division - $50

Start Date -- The hopefully start date for things is August 1st. The organization would like to be able to have all kids assigned to teams right around August 1 and be able to begin practices as soon as we can after that. Of course that date is subject to change due to circumstances.

All leagues are subject to player availability, if we can not get enough participants then we will inform the parents/guardians if we have to cancel a league.

Due to current field conditions and continued rain in the forecast we will be postponing tonight's game. Please watch for makeup dates from your coaches.

With the upcoming weather forecasts for the next week, the Tiffin Youth Sports Association would like to keep all of our parents, players and fans informed on where we are in regards to games for this upcoming week.

TYSA Minor Division Baseball and TYSA Rookie Division are POSTPONING ALL GAMES this week.

TYSA Minor Division Baseball will have this week's games move to the week of JULY 8th

TYSA Rookie Division will have this week's games moved to the week of JULY 15th.

PHOTOS are still ON AS SCHEDULED for Thursday June 20 for TYSA Rookie Division at Oakley Park.

TYSA Junior Baseball Division games ARE STILL ON AS SCHEDULED! We are having ongoing conversations with our coaches there to keep them informed and also to try and get the games in if we can due to our limited scheduling space. The games will be taken on a day to day basis.

If anyone has any questions please reach out to the league commissioners or to the coaches.

UPDATE: TYSA Ponytail Softball has also POSTPONED ALL GAMES this week. Please check with coaches for rescheduling times.

Hello!

TYSA Rookie Division Baseball UPDATE:

⚾️ All players have been assigned to teams.
⚾️ We are still in NEED OF COACHES.
⚾️ Practices will begin as soon as we have coaches in place. There will be a coaches meeting Wednesday May 1st (Time and Location TBD). If you are interested in coaching, please attend. People have expressed interest in coaching, we will be reaching out to you as well.
⚾️ Games are slated to begin the first week of June but that will be altered according to what is needed.
-- Games will be played on Monday thru Thursday.
-- Fridays will be reserved for Make Up Games.
⚾️ Regular Season is slated to go through the end of June into early July.

Once again thank you so much to all of our Players, Parents, Families for your exceptional support and understanding during this time as we work to get everything in order for our 2024 season.

UPDATE TIME!

First things first.

We asked the wonderful businesses of our community to step up and help support our youth baseball organization and DID THEY EVER!

We have 6 teams ready to go for our Rookie Division this spring/summer and within just over 24 hours after our fundraising guru reached out we had all 6 teams sponsored.

THANK YOU to the wonderful businesses that stepped up to the plate for our youth. We will be featuring these businesses in the very near future, early and often. Please remember to support them when you are out and about in our community.

NOW,

We here at the TYSA Rookie Division are reaching out one more time. Players have been placed on teams and we are almost ready to go except....

WE NEED COACHES. We need some people to step up and coach our teams for the upcoming season. If you have any interest in coaching a team and helping show our players the fun of the game of baseball while learning and honing their skills, then please, PLEASE reach out to us through our page here or contact Elizabeth Gill (567-207-5090), Rhett Gill (567-207-5091) or Jamie Rhodes (419-618-6969) by phone or text.

We need to have coaches in place before we can start our practices. Coaches will have a few certifications that will need to be taken care of that are all on-line and free of charge and they will have to submit to a background check as well (all of which can be done at our website).

Teams that do have coaches will have their coaches reaching out to the players shortly.

A huge thank you once again to everyone for your continued support of the Tiffin Youth Sports Association as well as your patience as we look to create an incredible experience for our players.
