Hello Everyone,
Thank you for your patience over the last few weeks. The Grand Board has been following developments of COVID-19 since February and the varying information coming both domestically and internationally. As better information has been presented, models have been refined, and after getting feedback from many brothers and families, the Grand Board has come to the obvious choice to cancel the 2020 convention.
We have been in contact with the hotel, tour companies, banquet hall, and food vendors over the last few days. We are pleased to announce that convention will have the same format for 2021, as the vendors fully understand the situation this year is out of our control and are willing to move forward into 2021 with the new dates of May 13th-16th, 2021.
The hotel is closed at the moment, so mailing a letter with your request to cancel 2020 reservations and to book out for 2021 will be honored. If you have already submitted your registration fee, we can either mark you as prepaid for 2021 or refund your registration if you so choose.
As the COVID-19 situation unfolds, we are looking to add events for later this Summer and Fall where we can continue the fraternal bonding and resurgence we have seen over the last decade. If you would like to recommend an event or help plan an event in your area, please reach out to any Grand Board member individually or directly to the Grand Board email [email protected]. We would like to hear feedback from the Ohio, Pennsylvania/NY, Michigan, and VA on regional events. The sooner you contact the Grand Board with events, the sooner we can get the information disseminated for planning.
Please pass this message along to all brothers you know do not receive Facebook or email communication. We would rather have brothers receive this multiple times than be inadvertently missed.
Fraternally,
Grant Trudel
