Ticonderoga's Fourth of July celebration is a cherished community tradition. To ensure these festivities continue for years to come, we are seeking community members interested in forming a new Fourth of July committee to take on the planning and coordination of this important event.
Whether you have experience organizing events, connections within the community, or simply a desire to volunteer, your participation would be greatly appreciated!
We are continuing to work with the Town of Ticonderoga in hopes of reestablishing a municipal committee, similar to those in many other communities. An event of this magnitude requires significant coordination, including municipal collaboration, insurance coverage, regulatory compliance, public safety and logistical planning. A formal committee structure would help provide the communication, oversight and organizational support necessary to make the celebration successful.
Interested in helping? We encourage anyone who would like to serve on or help establish the new committee to contact the Town of Ticonderoga directly.
To support a smooth transition, we also have the planning materials, organizational information and resources from Ticonderoga's 250th celebration available to share with the new committee. There's no need to start from scratch!
With community involvement and continued collaboration with the Town, we hope to ensure that Ticonderoga's Fourth of July festivities remain a tradition for generations to come.
