A Surrendered Will is a Will at Peace, and Can Rest.
A surrendered will has ceased from self labor to accumulate righteousness.
Does life have a death grip on you?
Are there any possessions that you have that you are not willing to give up?? Search your own heart.
God’s love for you is perfect and if He has to pry something out of your hands that has a death grip on you or you’re not willing to surrender, He will do so...out of love.
Funny thing is, that some of the hardest things to die to are things we don’t even have. Such as, the search for the perfect relationship, a desire for wealth, religious popularity and reputation. We could have these things if God would just give us our fleshly desires!
The desires of the flesh cannot enter into the kingdom of God. When you become a totally surrendered, dead to self, little child , in the kingdom of God, your desires change dramatically. In fact, your desires will originate with God, making His word true that says, He will give you the desires of your heart.
Heaven will not be contaminated with narcissistic influence.
Heaven will not be contaminated by self ambition or self made people.
The prize possession of this world is peace, but it cannot be obtained except through total surrender.
What does total surrender mean?
It means to quit struggling against God to supply the desires of your flesh.
You must have faith that God has already looked into your future and knows exactly what you need for today. He knows the exact struggles that you need to face today to overcome the death grip of this world.
I ask you this, what will you give in exchange for your soul?
A successful business??
How about a sexual encounter? Or a particular sum of money? How about to be attractive, envied and held in popular esteem by the world?
I remember the words of Corrie Tenboom, a Holocaust survivor. She said, don’t hold too tightly to the things of this world and it won’t hurt so bad when God has to pry them out of your hands.
You see ,God‘s love for you is perfect. If there’s some fleshly desire that could have you on the "no-fly" list when Jesus returns, He’s going to try to pry it out of your hands….. out of love, not punishment.
So when God calls for your "Isaac" to be put on the altar , you can do so.
Learn how to search your heart for any fleshly desire or an entanglement into the affairs of this world. Learn how to examine yourself and see where your treasure is.
If the things you most desire are in this world, that is where your treasure and your heart is. You can’t serve two masters or two kingdoms.
Listen my friends. As totally surrendered children, there are days you’re going to wake up and God is going to say, let’s examine all of your treasures and their location again. Let’s search for any entanglement that may have creeped up on you. I have learned to welcome this examination, because the end thereof, bears the peaceable fruit of God.
Now, the church enterprise, as your mediator, wants you to think that the relationship you have with God, through the enterprise, is sufficient and is all that is required.
Make God real in your life, then leave Him alone to do His own work.
There is no salvation in your church organization.
There is no salvation in the preacher's opinion of you.
There is no salvation as a result of religious labor.
There is no salvation in tithes and offerings.
Are you trying to satisfy the wages of sin through your religious labor for the church.
Here-in lies the great deception. The goal is not to remove Jesus, but just ever so slightly and incrementally, move Him to the side with church.
It is easier to preach to the drunkards and prostitutes, than it is to the modern day delusional church goers.
They are convinced that their religious organization, their church, and their preacher is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one will see the Father, except through an accumulation of service to the religious cause that they stand behind.
I have heard numerous preachers say, Jesus paid it all and then in the next breath, give you a religious regiment or a program of works to follow.
They preach a bipolar gospel….
These preachers do not know the gospel and should leave the pulpits immediately.
Anyone who preaches the gospel as a religious regiment does not understand or know the true gospel.
Any preacher that attempts to attach a religious regiment, or maintenance program to the finished work of Jesus, is dead wrong!
They are under the strong delusion of this bipolar last days gospel.
They can say all the right things and quote it like poetry.
They can tell you that Jesus paid it all, as a poetic statement and then set an offering plate of obligation in front of you.
They can say, Jesus freely saves and then in the same breath, assign a religious regiment.
How can they do this?
It’s because they are totally unaware of, and have no confidence in the power that the true gospel has within it.
Most of them are products of the enterprise, that is posing as the church. Therefore, all they know is that the growth of the enterprise is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no man will see the Father except through the enterprise.
I’m not saying they’re bad people , purposely attempting to deceive. I’m saying that they are deceived also. By an enterprise that teaches the gospel as a side-note of religious poetry, that we are ever learning to quote, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth in it.
Why??
Because of our unwillingness to let go of the things of this world.
The enterprise says that when you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on! I’m telling you that when you get to the end of your rope, trust Jesus and let go.
It is true that Jesus patiently waits at the table of the secret place in your innermost being. Waiting for you to enter in and take up your seat in the secret place of total surrender.
Where flesh and blood cannot enter.
Where the true worshipers are worshiping in spirit and in truth.
Where the true church of the last days is forsaking not the assembling of ourselves together, at His table.
All in one accord as the church, without spot or wrinkle.
Don’t let your seat in the enterprise keep you from taking up your seat in heavenly places.
It’s the only place of victory that can be won through surrender.
Coming to this table of total surrender and offering your life as a blank script is not optional.
Jesus said, you must surrender all.
You must die to self and the cares of this world.
Paul proclaimed he had learned the art of dying daily. This was Paul’s peace and power source, and it will become yours also.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying, here in these last days………
Prayer
I offer my life to you, oh King of Perfect Love. I ask you to send the Spirit of Truth to direct me to my seat in heavenly places.
Teach me, my Savior, how to die to self and the cares of this world. Teach me how to walk in the confidence of Your perfect love for me. I ask You, Lord, to feed me the hidden manna of heaven and fill my lamp with oil, that I may see through the strong delusion of the last days.
All of my hope, trust, and my confidence is in You, Jesus . I proclaim and confess with my mouth that You alone have satisfied the wages of my sins…… and nothing else. It’s You, Jesus …. and nothing else!
