You'll Be a Hero (Without the Cape or Tummy Cape)
We're all about the kids of Thurston County. Let's be honest, your superpower isn't flying or invisibility. It's just showing up and making sure they have the opportunities they wouldn't have otherwise. You get to be a champion for youth, all before your first cup of coffee. Way more impressive than just saying you "made a difference" by taking out the trash.
We're Not Your Grandfather's Rotary Club
Forget the fancy hotels and stiff meetings. We gather at a bar on Wednesday mornings, because waffles and service go surprisingly well together. The infotainment is lively, the crowd is friendly, and the coffee is flowing. Best of all, we’re not a singing club. No surprise serenades, no awkward harmonies—just good vibes and better breakfast. (You’ll thank us later, if we ever sung anything)

Learn from the Local Legends
The infotainment is basically TED Talks with snacks. Weekly, our feature speakers are from amazing local companies and organizations. You’ll get the inside scoop on what makes the South Sound tick— You'll get an inside look at what makes the South Sound thrive, from new businesses to goat yoga (okay, maybe not goat yoga… yet), but they aren't just for chatting; they're your window into what's really happening in the South Sound, so basically. It's like a masterclass in community leadership, but with less homework and more syrup.
We're Building Friendships and Fore-ever having Fun!
We're a group of friends who actually like spending time together, both at our meetings and when we're sharing a brew later after a long week, we are always glad to see each other. We even host the popular "Bunkers, Balls & Birdies" Charity Golf Scramble, It’s part fundraiser, part fun-raiser, and all heart. We know how to mix service with celebration.
Your Campaign Starts Here (Even if It's Not Official Yet)
Thinking about running for local office? Tired of knocking on doors and having people pretend they're not home? Join us. Our club is where the people and networks that matter in Thurston County meet. We're not saying you'll get elected just by joining, but we can promise you won’t have to talk to an empty porch or that one neighbor, you forgot to return their lawnmower. It's the perfect pre-campaign warm-up for getting your message out there.
A Good Reason to Wear Pants
If you work from home, you know the struggle is real. We're your perfect excuse to trade your pajamas for actual pants and connect with actual people IRL. Come to our weekly "infotainment" sessions, connect with your community, and be part of something bigger than your home office. It's the perfect midweek mental reset and a chance to escape the endless loop of "is this meeting really necessary?"

At the end of the day, Gateway Rotary is serious about service, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
