Maryland athletic director Jim Smith on the frustration from the Maryland fan base:

“You have to respect the fans and their frustration that they might be feeling, but you can't let it impact how you're going to plan and run the program and run the department. You can't be naive not to know what the sentiment is out there. But you also can't let it dictate how you're going to approach the next week.”

Tomorrow at Oldline Tailgating club

Set up is at 130

Drinks will be flowing at 145

Food will be out at 4pm …. When it’s gone it’s gone. I wouldn’t show up at 545-6 and expect a ton of stuff available. We plan to start to close up the tailgate for 645 clean up.

Traffic is going to be bad ….. if you plan to get there around 5 or 530 you will sit in it

So what am I saying if you joined in….

Get there earlier , enjoy the tailgate, but be mindful that college park and lower 1b grass is going to be packed to the gills.

And Walkups…… I don’t have capacity

09/18/2026

I have 5 Terp Tank tickets left…. Terp fans only… face value …$99.
