CYA LAX - Catoctin Youth Association Lacrosse We help promote and educate the Thurmont feeder and surrounding areas about the game of lacrosse and being a part of our family and community.

Lacrosse is the state of Maryland's official team sport and the fastest game on two feet! We are part of the Western Maryland Youth Lacrosse Conference and offer teams for ages U7-U14. President: Bryan Smith

🥍 IT’S GAME WEEKEND, COUGAR NATION! 🐾

The wait is over — Catoctin Youth Lacrosse kicks off the season tomorrow! Our players have been braving cold practices, perfecting their passes, and getting ready to hit the field. Now it’s time to play!

📅 Game schedules for our 1/2, 3/4, and 5/6 teams are attached, so save them to your phone and mark those calendars.

🏠 Home Opening Weekend
Join us March 28 & 29 at Eyler Park as our Cougars take the field at home. Come cheer loud, bring the energy, and support our players!

Whether you’re a player, parent, coach, or fan, we can’t wait to see the sidelines filled with blue, white, and Cougar pride all season long.

Let’s make it a great season full of hustle, teamwork, and fun!

Where the calendar says March, but the weather says “absolutely not.”

Yes, that’s snow. Yes, it’s 28°.
Don’t worry we kept practice short. We’re aiming for goals, not frostbite 🥶

Friendly reminder: this is, in theory, a spring sport.

What an awesome turnout on this perfect fall day! 🍂 We had so many new faces — and you’d never guess some were beginners with the skills they showed off today. They definitely kept our HS boys on their toes! 💪

Can’t wait to see everyone (and hopefully some more new players!) on November 22nd from 11:00–12:30 at Eyler Field! 🥍

Let’s be honest we know you ain’t picked up a stick, or opened that gear bag in the corner of the garage since May. Shake the dust off, grab your stick and cmon out to Eyler Park for a bit. Got a friend, perhaps a baseball player you want to covert? Bring them along. We will have extra sticks for someone to use.

Get ready for an exciting season of fun, teamwork, and lacrosse skill-building! Whether your child is new to the game or a returning player, this is the perfect opportunity to learn, grow, and compete.
