It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Brother Carroll Lee Ruff on April 26, 2025. There will be a Masonic Service on Wednesday, April 30th at 8pm at Willis Funeral Home in Gallipolis following visiting hours which start at 5pm. Keep the family of Brother Ruff in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Brethren, it is with deep sadness to announce the passing of Brother David William Saunders on March 15, 2025. Brother Saunders was a 46 year member of Centreville #371. A Masonic Service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 1pm at the Waughhalleywood Funeral Home in Gallipolis. Please plan to attend in honoring our fallen Brother.

David William Saunders, age 69, of Vinton died Saturday March 15, 2025 at his residence. Born on Aug 30, 1955 in Gallia County. He was the son of the late William "Bill" L. and Virginia (Gothard) Saunders. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert (Bob) Saunders, a sister, Verdonna Slaughter and a stepson, Joshua Venters.
He was lifelong owner-operator with Admiral Merchants for over 20 years, and a member of Centerville Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by a son, Kennison Saunders of Claudville, VA, Daughters, Rachel (Jason) Patterson of Gallipolis Ferry, WV. and Stephenie (Jesse) Willis of Cana, Virginia. 4 grandchildren, Cameron Willis, Elijah Willis, Eden Willis and Karleigh Saunders. Also surviving is his significant other, Patsy Venters of Vinton and a step-son, Jacob Venters of AZ.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Saturday March 22, 2025 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 – 1:00 PM. Masonic services by Centerville Masonic Lodge, will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
