The 21-Day Georgia Kulture Keepers Challenge Begins NOW!
May 22 – June 12, 2025
Spotlight: North Georgia Counties
Help us honor the cultural champions in our communities! The African Diaspora Museology Institute (ADMI) is on a mission to identify and recognize at least one Kulture Keeper in each of Georgia’s 159 counties—starting with North Georgia!
A Kulture Keeper is a steward of ancestral memory—those who preserve, share, and protect Black heritage in both formal and informal ways.
They may be:
🔸 Founders of Black museums
🔸 Storytellers & genealogists
🔸 Artists, educators, and elders
🔸 Caretakers of burial grounds or historic homes
🔸 Archivists of Black family history
This initiative is part of ADMI’s ongoing effort to document Black museums and cultural spaces across the African Diaspora. Let's celebrate those ensuring our stories are told for generations to come.
Do you know a Kulture Keeper in any of these counties? Nominate them today!
