Dominique Ferraro, of Jessup, is a Valley View High School graduate who recently earned her Bachelor’s in Theatre Education, from Marywood University.

Dominique is known for her performances at both Valley View High School and Marywood University, starring in musicals such as Mamma Mia!, Merrily We Roll Along, Cabaret, The Light in the Piazza, and Tuck Everlasting.

She directs and teaches at Rising Stars Performing Arts and served as voice director for Wyoming Seminary’s musical last year and will continue this year.

Her credits also include acting and directing at the Music Box in Wilkes-Barre and performing with Scranton Shakes for the past two years.

Dominique looks forward to sharing her love of theater with the students at Mid Valley.

Mr. Berry is no stranger to the Mid Valley Music Department. For many years, he worked alongside Mr. Wilson as an assistant with the marching band, helping to build a tradition of excellence and school pride.

Last year, we were thrilled to welcome Mr. Berry as our full-time Elementary Music Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. Now, we are even more excited to announce that he is stepping into a new leadership role as the High School Band Director.

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Berry to the Mid Valley Secondary Center. We are excited for the future of our band program under his leadership. Welcome, Mr. Berry!

It's a Mid Valley show all around tonight at PNC field! The kids did great with the anthem, and the Kozmic Kidz, featuring Mr. Rebar and Mr. Snyder, were awesome! Video of the anthem will be posted later... stay tuned!

Congratulations to Mr. Wilson on his retirement! His impact on the music program will continue to be felt for years to come.

Mr. Wilson brought multicultural music experiences into the classroom and created opportunities for students to explore music beyond traditional ensembles.

Sharing the Steel Pans program, "Spartan Steel", was such a meaningful contribution to our school community. He created something unique that gave students the chance to experience a style of music and performance they may have never encountered otherwise.

Best of luck on your retirement, and thank you for your years of dedication, passion for music, and the countless ways you have influenced students and colleagues alike at both Mountain View and Mid Valley.

We will miss you! 🎵🎶
