The Huss Project Farm

The Huss Project Farm Triple Ripple Community Gardens Triple Ripple is turning an underutilized community space at the former Huss school into an organic community garden.

TRIPLE RIPPLE COMMUNITY GARDENS
Cultivating the spirit of community, neighborhood and diversity by mentoring youth to grow food collaboratively and sustainably. The building is a 100-year-old elementary school, which has sat vacant for 5 years. The building will ultimately become a community center, and this garden is the first project for the organization that owns the property, culture is not op

Triple Ripple came together in 2010 to provide organically grown vegetables and fruit to the local community – 1000 lbs worth OUR FIRST YEAR. In 2011 we plan to double that! We are looking for kids, adults and seniors to learn, work, meet friends, and grow food. You will have an opportunity to learn how to grow your own food, organically, meet new friends, and learn green gardening techniques. It’s also a great chance to get some fresh air and a purpose for the summer. Helpers will get some vegetables to take with them, the bulk of the harvest will be shared with those who need fresh vegetables. To help or receive some of the bounty of the harvest, please contact:
