One thing that is unfortunate about social media is preserving the memories, they can go away in an instant. We lost our page a couple years ago so we are rebuilding it slowly. If you have a great memory and a photo with the Auxiliary or at our Post please share them in the comments.

Does your VFW Auxiliary official website have a tab under Programs that reads Mentoring for Leadership? Are you promoting the national anthem singing contest?
Do you encourage passing out RAP coins, still have the word "Ladies" preceding "Auxiliary," mention a currently operating Men's Auxiliary or list Germany and Japan among our Department-Unaffiliated Auxiliaries?

If you answered yes to any of these, you're not alone... but you are sharing incorrect information with those who visit your homepage!

At VFW Auxiliary National Headquarters, we receive many questions from current members, prospective members, scholarship entrants' parents and members of the press, seeking clarification on a number of topics. The answer to most, if not all, of these can be found on our website, but when a VFW Post or VFW Auxiliary has contradictory information on their website, it causes confusion.

We ask that you please look over your web pages and social media for outdated information and either update or delete it ASAP. Thank you!

(Reminder: Mentoring for Leadership is not a continuing Program anymore, the National Anthem singing contest is no longer offered by the National organization, we still have RAP CARDS but not RAP COINS, we dropped the "Ladies" from our name when we went coed in 2015, there are no officially sanctioned Men's Auxiliaries and the only Department-Unaffiliated Auxiliaries we have at present are in France, Thailand, the Philippines and Guam.)
