Do you smell that? It's the Bacon Cheeseburgers and Bratwurst sizzling on the grills at the John Q. Adams Milwaukee Railroad Park during the Three Forks Farmer's Market . $8 will get you a burger meal while brat meals are $6, while supplies last, in support of the Headwaters Trail System.

The funds raised will support the maintenance and development of the Headwaters Trail System, a 12-mile paved network of trails that runs along the former Milwaukee Railroad bed through the City of Three Forks. The trail connects our town with the Headwaters State Park, the Jefferson River's Droulliard Fishing Access and the Pogreba Field Airport. It's also part of the Rails to Trails Conservancy.

This is exciting news, as our Headwaters Trail System is part of the Rails to Trails Conservancy! Folks could even learn about it tonight at the Bacon Cheeseburger & Brat BBQ during the Three Forks Farmer's Market, as the funds raised at the BBQ benefit our Headwaters Trail System.

The Headwaters Trail System is a paved network of trails that runs along the former Milwaukee Railroad bed through the City of Three Forks. There are just about 12 miles of paved trails in and around Three Forks, running to both the Headwaters State Park and the Jefferson River's Droulliard Fishing Access, as well as provide walking and biking capability to the Pogreba Field Airport. These trails cost over $1,300,000 and were implemented exclusively using donations and grant funding.

One way YOU can help support the Headwaters Trail System is by attending tonight's Bacon Cheeseburger and Bratwurst fundraiser during the Three Forks Chamber of Commerce's Forks Farmer's Market. Come to The Depot early, as supplies may run out, to dine in or take out.... We also can accept additional donations at that time.

We've all taken advantage of the Headwaters Trail System as we enjoy walking, biking or more throughout our little City of Three Forks. Recently, the trail has seen some maintenance being taken care of. With that, join the volunteers as they continue to fundraise for continued improvements and towards further development during the Three Forks Farmer's Market. Bacon Cheeseburgers and Bratwurst meals will be available for dine in and take out, while supplies last, at the John Q. Adams Milwaukee Railroad Park.

This Thursday, beat the heat and avoid cooking! The Headwaters Trail System volunteers will be grilling Bacon Cheeseburgers ($8) and Bratwurst ($6) during the Three Forks Chamber of Commerce's Three Forks Farmer's Market. Each meal comes with chips, a cookie and water and is available as dine in or take out. We hope to see you there at The Depot at the John Q. Adams Milwaukee Railroad Park from 4-7pm (or until supplies run out)!
