Remembering Charlie Kirk. When I heard he was coming to a local church in my area, I felt the Lord prompting me to go for the sole purpose to pray for him and his ministry. Specifically to pray for protection because God was going to use his voice for His kingdom. I had never met him nor heard him speak. I went because the urgency was not leaving me. I prayed inside the church. I walked through the church to get back to my car. I opened a door thinking it was to the parking lot and as I was walking through the door my eyes looked up and standing before me in his blue colored suit was Charlie Kirk smiling at me. No words needed, but I did manage a “Hello” before his security detail moved him past me. That smile I will not forget. We did not know each other but in that moment we knew each other spiritually. I thank the Lord for sending me to pray for someone I had never met and for allowing us “to see and acknowledge each other” in that holy moment! I had never prayed for someone who would be martyred for the sake of Christ. That is why I weep! No words Jesus.
