Our 11th Annual Blue Box Project donations were delivered to the Lighthouse for Women and Children in Oxnard on March 12, 2026. The response continues to grow. We completely packed our truck and required help with an additional truck to carry extra donations. Thanks to Mike and Lorraine Newton for helping with the loading and delivery. As our trucks were unloaded at the Lighthouse, the staff and residents were overwhelmed with the generosity of so many people. The residents commented that our delivery always arrives as their supplies are running low. The director commented that our annual collection meets the women’s needs for a full year.
We are so grateful to our family and friends from this area, and across many states throughout the country who kept the Amazon trucks visiting us each day and our Blue Boxes filled. A very special THANK YOU to Buckles and Bows Square Dance Club, my Delta Kappa Gamma Sisters, Renee Vlerick and Mary Kay Distributors, Silver Sneakers, Goebel Adult Community Center, our friends and family across the country and our neighbors on Next Door, for their continued support.
