Backpack Medicine was at the Human Services Center today. A woman experiencing homelessness was at the building. We called to see if they could do something. A few minutes later this mighty team showed up to offer assitance. She accepted what was offered and is on the path for help.

The team includes VCMC Residency Program Providers and Faculty, HCH & One Stop Personnel, Whole Person Care, Behavioral Health RISE/PATH, Turning Point Foundation, Public Health Department, and our local Law Enforcement.

Backpack medicine occurs 2x a week- Mondays and Thursdays, times and locations vary on community needs.
