We’ll first continue watching the next lesson of TPUSA Faith’s course, Defending the Faith, with Dr. Frank Turek. We’ll then get to hear from Brad and ask questions about The Founders’ Bible and how he boldly puts his faith into action. RSVP now for our next meeting on Friday, March 8th, at 6:00 PM! We’ll first tune in to week 2 (of 8) of our new TPUSA Faith course, Defending the Faith, with the great Dr. Frank Turek. We’ll then hear from Godspeak’s own Scarlett Taylor Lani, who serves as the Coach Program Ambassador for Rick Green’s Patriot Academy. Courses include “Biblical Citizenship” and “Constitution Alive!”. Scarlett will be sharing how her role has affected her walk with Christ and served as a vehicle for change, followed by Q&A. Affectionately known as the ‘unexpected’ Constitution Coach, Scarlett literally stumbled upon her “calling” as a Coach with Patriot Academy, easing in by leading small classes and building up to 450 students at a time in California. This “calling” organically led to nestling into her niche of becoming the ‘Coach to Coaches’ across the nation by training and equipping Patriot Academy’s Constitution and Biblical Citizenship Coaches coast to coast. Scarlett serves as Patriot Academy’s Coach Program Ambassador and Lead Trainer, and has contributed to the growth of Coaches from just 200 in 2020 to well over 27,000 so far in 2024!

Please join us for our next monthly meeting, which will take place on Friday, the 10th in Godspeak's Community Room (across the lot) at 6 PM. We have invited the Mayor of Thousand Oaks, Dr. Kevin McNamee, as our guest speaker! We recently had the pleasure of meeting Dr. McNamee at the Worldwide Stop the War on Children Rally in Northridge. He was one of the few representative from Ventura County and shared information on the CEO Act he is pushing to be added to the ballot. Bring a friend and be ready to ask questions!

Dr. Kevin McNamee, brings many skills to his office as city Councilmember. He is a businessman, healthcare professional, and a dedicated educator in the fine community of Thousand Oaks.

His journey in the world of politics began by standing tall and speaking out in city council meetings, where the heart of our great nation beats. Recognizing that we could do better, that we could rise to meet the challenges facing Thousand Oaks, he took action. In 2020, he took the leap, and with the support of the good people of this town, he earned his place on the council. And now, he wears the mantle of the Mayor of Thousand Oaks, leading us with wisdom and vision until the end of 2023.

Dr. McNamee, in his service to this community, brings forth innovative ideas to streamline our government, to lessen the burden of taxes, to sow the seeds of job growth, and to prune away those stifling regulations that threaten our businesses.

Thousand Oaks stands at a crossroads, facing challenges that echo across our great land. The weight of pension debt, the specter of shuttered businesses, the potholed paths that our citizens traverse, the sea of traffic that ebbs and flows, the search for affordable shelter, and the quest for the lifeblood of our town - water - these are the hurdles we face.

Let us stop using terms that bolster the Left. It’s regressivism, not progressivism. We must take the offense on the language front. Language shapes our thinking, mold yours in the shape of Truth.
