As part of our wildfire safety education outreach grant with Southern California Edison (SCE), Senior Concerns is sharing information about SCE's new updated Public Safety Power Shutoff protocol to help keep communities safe.

It’s always a good day when community partners come together around a shared goal: helping older adults and family caregivers thrive.

Today, Senior Concerns welcomed Josephine Wilson, Assistant City Manager for the City of Westlake Village - Government, for a visit to learn more about our programs and the many ways we support seniors and family caregivers throughout our community.

More importantly, we had the opportunity to talk about what Westlake Village residents need today, what we’re seeing on the horizon, and how we can continue working together to connect residents with meaningful resources and support.

We are grateful for the City of Westlake Village’s continued partnership and support of Senior Concerns and for leaders like Josephine who take the time to learn, listen, and explore how we can serve our community even better together.

The Senior Concerns Adult Day Program is a licensed care facility under the California Department of Social Services, created with compassion and connection at its heart.

Our program provides a welcoming, supportive environment for older adults living with memory and/or physical impairments who can benefit from meaningful social interaction, engaging group activities, and the companionship of others.
