Calling All Thorp High School Class of '65 Graduates!

Let’s Make Our 60th Reunion Unforgettable!

Hello, Thorp High School Class of ’65 graduates! This is Susie, Sue, Suzann (or whichever name sticks in your memory) Benzschawel—previously Davis, now Hirsch! I’m thrilled to announce that preparations are underway for our milestone 60th reunion gathering, scheduled for October 4th at the Meadowview Country Club in Owen. Jeff Anderson, forever class president, has been making the arrangements already. George Possley created this page for us to communicate with each other and keep updated as the time approaches.
As part of this effort, I’ve been working on collecting email addresses to ensure everyone gets the latest updates and invitations. While some addresses bounced back as invalid, many did reach their destinations, and I’ve received replies from a few of you—though I’d love to hear from many more!
Let’s make this gathering a true celebration of shared memories and friendships. Here’s how you can help:
• Share Photos and Stories: Do you have cherished snapshots or anecdotes from our school days? Share them here to ignite nostalgia and spark conversation.
• Spread the Word: If you know classmates who might not have received the email, please reach out and let them know about our plans.
• Suggest Fun Ideas: What can we do to make this reunion extraordinary? Whether it’s games, music, or a special tribute, all suggestions are welcome!

FRIENDS: Several classmates have requested that we get together this Fall like we did last year at the Owen Golf Course. I contacted Chris, the chef, who remembered us and we reserved Monday, September 9th. We would eat at 5:30PM and order individually off of the menu.
