Though we are still waiting on budget legislation to come out, we are thrilled to read in the Governor’s budget briefing book that the Executive Budget proposes ending the practice of funding AIM through county sales tax and makes it a state-funded program once again.

Below, we've got a timeline graphic of how a state budget is arrived at year to year. We are just about to be full swing in budget season, and we'll regularly update our members on the major state issues affecting towns during the process.
