Over the weekend 44 Ridge Wrestlers participated in Colorado’s toughest tournament, STATE! 27 of our wrestlers placed and got to stand on the podium to represent our club! Due to the contributions of every wrestler that participated in State, as a club we placed 3rd out of 113 teams!!! A job well done!

Ridge’s Coaching staff would like to publicly recognize our wrestlers for going out there and giving it their all and representing what RIDGE stands for!

Good afternoon Ridge family,

Over the weekend, 10 of Ridge’s own wrestlers traveled to Casper, Wyoming and battled in the RMN Wild West Championships!

Ridge Wrestling Club definitely showed out! Every single Ridge wrestler placed in this tournament!

As a team, we took third place and brought home a team trophy to add to our stock pile! The top 2 teams registered with double the amount of wrestlers and we were still close to coming away on top!

Special shout out to Josh Licon. Josh placed first in both of the brackets he wrestled in and brought home the Tri-State Championship award. The Tri-State Champion award was rewarded to Josh for winning three different RMN championship events in three other states at the same weight class!

🔥WHAT AN UNREAL TOURNAMENT 🔥 Today was a HUGE success because of our amazing parents, sponsors, families, and volunteers!

From a late night setup to late-night cleanup, from running tables and concessions to donating time, food, and resources you ALL showed up in a big way. The effort, energy, and teamwork you guys showed was nothing short of incredible🥲

And let’s talk about our team for a second…
Our camaraderie, spirit, and support for one another were SO BIG that we literally got complaints about how loud and united we were — and honestly, we’ll take that as a badge of honor. 😤🔥 That energy, pride, and togetherness is what makes this program special.
