What a WONDERFUL kickoff to Wonder Junction VBS this past Sunday!
Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for everyone who has poured their time, energy, prayers, and hard work into making this year’s VBS such a success already. From the decorations and lessons to the worship and excitement from our kids, it was an incredible start to what we believe will be a life-changing month!
We are so thankful for every volunteer, teacher, worker, and supporter who helped bring Wonder Junction to life. Seeing children excited about Jesus and eager to learn more about Him is what it’s all about! We can’t wait to see what the rest of June holds as we continue this amazing journey together. God is moving, and we are expecting great things!
“Expectation is Everything”
Acts 3
The church was never meant to be ordinary, it was meant to be supernatural! Throughout the service, we were challenged with a simple but powerful question: What are you expecting from God?
Do you want to get well? Do you want to be changed? Do you want to be transformed?
Too often we come to church without expectation, but God’s Word reminds us that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He hasn’t stopped working. He hasn’t stopped healing. He hasn’t stopped delivering. The question is: Are we expecting Him to move?
It is the prayer of faith that sets captives free. It is faith that transforms lives. We must expect prayer to change things, expect the Holy Spirit to show up, and expect revival to break out. God is still able!
We can have church without power, but we were never called to. Paul warned Timothy that there would come a time when people would have a form of godliness while denying its power. We need the power of God, the power that breaks chains, destroys yokes, and changes lives.
Expectation is the breeding ground for miracles and transformation. We need conviction more than comfort. We need faith more than familiarity. When God gives a Word, breakthrough follows!
No matter what situation you’re facing today, remember: With God all things are possible. God is able. God is moving. The only question is…
