Our community has been rocked by yet another senseless act of violence and tragic loss of a young life, gone far too soon.

I am not here to preach or lecture, but to let our community know that you are not alone.

My heart breaks for the mother who got a phone call in the middle of the night that her child’s life had been taken; for the family that is now without their loved one and for the coaches, friends, and anyone else who knew & loved this young man who is now left asking why, with no satisfactory answers and a gaping hole in their hearts.

We as a community have to do better. Better at everything. Our children deserve that.

All of them.

To those who are hurting, there is nothing I, or anyone, can do or say to lessen the pain. Please just know that you are not hurting alone.

A necessary read for anyone with questions about the charter school application that was filed in Chesco. The filers are boasting that they already have several Coatesville families pre-registered. This would be detrimental to taxes in our school district due to the unfair and lopsided charter funding laws which disproportionately impact lower income districts.

If this charter school application with so many red flags is approved, it would irrevocably undermine the credibility of the charter school program in Pennsylvania.

There are a ton of things to brag about in our district. The prom parade has got to be one of my favorites.
Everyone looked amazing! The cars were incredible. The dresses were fabulous and the suits/tuxedos were immaculate. It was my pleasure to es**rt Evan & Jason Seagreaves.

I would like to formally announce my running for region 2 for school board director this upcoming election season.

We have made some changes and progress, however there is still some hard work ahead of us. There are tough decisions to be made and difficult conversations to have, however I think with the right team in place we can achieve wonderful things!

Due to staff absences, the Coatesville Area School District will be using a Flexible Instruction Day (FID) on Friday, February 17, 2023. This will be the second of five FID days that the district is able to use for the 2022-2023 school year.

All students will follow their daily schedule and access their classes through their teacher’s Canvas page. Students should bring their Chromebooks home on Thursday, February 16. All computers should be brought back to school on Tuesday, February 21 for in person instruction.

Since some students have Chromebooks in repair, hard copies of assignments will be provided to all students. Students are also allowed to sign on to teacher Canvas pages using personal devices at home.
