We are so grateful to the wonderful volunteers from Franklin First United Methodist Church. These angels under the direction of Marilyn Holmes showed up early and ready to go. A dozen hard working folks removed wire from fence posts, dug out fence posts and filled the holes left behind. The goal was to take down two sides of our arena fence in preparation for our arena cover construction. It was a huge undertaking and they executed it perfectly with joy and community. Not only that, they offered to come back when it’s time to reinstall the fences. What a special group. We love every one of them.

We had riding lessons for our participants that evening and the next morning. We had to make some adjustments but managed a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

We look forward to not having to cancel lessons for light rain days throughout the year or too much sun reflecting off our sand in the summer. Look for more updates in the coming weeks.

A big thank you to Sunset Middle School’s Kindness crew. They worked to help clear tree limbs, sticks and black walnuts. It was so fun to watch their boundless energy. We look forward to their next visit. Poppy and Buddy enjoyed their visit too.

Wishing y’all a Happy New Year filled with joy, health, and peace.
