Exciting times ahead!

🚧 Big changes are coming to Sarah Benson Park! 🌳🎉
On June 9, the Thompson’s Station Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved the construction bid for Phase 1 improvements at Sarah Benson Park. This exciting project includes rerouted drive aisles, relocated parking, and a brand NEW playground! 🛝
Please excuse our mess during construction. Sarah Benson Park will close beginning June 15, 2026, and will remain closed throughout the construction process. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to enjoy the new improvements soon!
In the meantime, be sure to visit Preservation Park or explore our newly opened greenway trail system. 🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️🌿

Did you know that Thompson’s Station is a registered Bee City USA town? The Town promotes native plants, reduced chemical applications, and pollinator support! If you see a honeybee today, give it a little extra space and let it thrive.
