We also hope to educate in all matters DOG and often discuss topics such as nutrition, health, training, choosing the right dog for your lifestyle, etc. Our goal here

At certain angles these chi puppies look more like exotic cats to me….and if you see that too, then raise your hand!!! They are incredibly petite nuggets of uniqueness and they are looking for adopters who want to be a little bit weird together….because weird is cool!!!
Winslie is the female and Derwyn is the male. They are about 3 lbs and 7-8 weeks old. Derwyn is a bit more shy than his sister and really thrives with another dog, so we’d prefer he find a home with a confident companion. Winslie is more confident and outgoing. Both are playful and loving once they settle in.

Poet Marigold had her two week post op check up today and she got a nice thumbs up!!! Our vet feels like she should be ready for her adoptive home in six weeks. Her leg and pelvis seem to be healing beautifully, she’s using it well and has nice range of motion.
That’s all well and good, but you guys…:.this girl is a precious little one. She is sweet and trusting and trusting and affectionate and all about kisses. She has done fantastic in our foster home with all the dogs, all sizes and shapes and ages and energies. She is crate trained, has not had accidents, great on a leash, and today I learned she is exceptionally comfortable riding in a car. She’s not sure what to think about the farm animals at this point and loves to give them the talk when they come in from the pasture. When I correct her she stops, but then gathers her opinions that I’m an idiot and goes back to bark at them. But she’ll adjust to them. I think she will make an amazing companion dog and would love to have a home picked and ready for her as soon as she gets the all clear. Email us at [email protected] for adoption information.

These two ladies stopped to pose before heading into Animalia today to have their surgeries. Belzina got the bulldog breathing special along with her spay and Varina got a spay and a dental. Once they recover they will officially be ready for adoption!!!

There’s a new band we just broke out of jail….y’all give it up for Bellamy and the Candy Stripers!!!
This little mama was surrendered with six pups, only…two of them clearly aren’t hers and are older. We know this not just because they are bigger and don’t look like the other four, but the other four are also still nursing and they were not trying!! So, that’s not our mystery to solve and Bellamy was kind enough to take them in, so they’re still part of the band!!!
