Reminder as we go into the summer, and summer outdoor activities, if your youth protection training is going to expire soon, it's a good idea to renew before it does. Keeping youth SAFE in Cub scouting is priority #1. The programs have been updated this year. Please reach out with any questions.

Scouting America has released a refreshed version of Youth Protection Training (YPT), now titled Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT). The course is now live and is required for all new leaders. The new course is approximately 90 minutes, with a requirement to complete all lessons and score 80% or higher. If you have a current Youth protection Training, that certificate is still valid until it expies for you.

Youth protection is at the heart of everything we do. This updated training reinforces a culture of active supervision, situational awareness, and safety, ensuring we’re all equipped to help keep our Scouts safe. Head to my.scouting.org now to get started!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered with the fish fries at St. Jude Parish! Thank you to the Knights of Columbus for all the hard work of putting on the fish fries! Thank you to those scouts and families that baked tasty treats for our sale! Your help and service is greatly appreciated!

I will leave you this year with a fishy joke.

Thank you Pack 19 Cub Scouts for participating in the Pinewood Derby for 2025! Lots of great cars and congratulations to our winners! You all did a great job!
Thank you Mike and Jen Bittner for a great event as always. Thank you to our den leaders for working with scouts this year, and thank you to the parents for supporting your cub scout!

Pack 19 movie in our PJs and Christmas/holiday cookie/treat exchange.

Movie of the day was "The Grinch" with popcorn and cocoa. Our cubs and their families did a great job making all sorts of treats to share!
