FELLOWSHIP OF CHRIST
REDEMPTION RANCH
Who We Are - What We Believe
The most important issue in our life is Yeshua (Jesus) and His redeeming sacrifice! He alone is the only way to heaven by believing in Him as the only begotten Son of God, sent to redeem us to eternal life with Him. He lived, died, was resurrected, and became our blood sacrifice. (John 14:6; Romans 10:9,10)
We believe the WHOLE B
ible is God’s Word and all of it is for today. We don’t believe God can or would change or throw away any of His Word. (Malachi 3:6; Matthew 5:17)
We believe Yeshua is THE WORD ! He said God our Father would send us His Holy Spirit to guide us into truth, comfort us, and empower us with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. (John 1:1-4, 14; John 16:13; Acts 1:8 )
We “keep” the Sabbath because the Word says to and also because our Savior kept it and was Lord of the Sabbath. We delight in the Sabbath because it delights our Lord. He has blessed us immensely because we are faithful to His Word. He hascalled His Sabbath a “mo’edim” – an appointed time to meet with Him. What a privilege that the Creator of all would desire to meet with us. We say: “Shabbat Shalom” meaning: may His whole provision, health, and peace be yours this day! (Lev. 23:3; Isaiah 66:23)
We “keep” the 7 originally commanded feasts because the Word says they are to be kept eternally, forever, or from generation to generation. We cannot find any “wiggle room” in those commands. We recognize the first 4 “Spring Feasts” have been fulfilled with the blood sacrifice, death and resurrection of our Messiah (Savior) Yeshua, and the giving of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost or Shavuot (Hebrew). We know that the final 3 Fall Feasts point to Yeshua and the fulfillment of the prophecies regarding His return, judgment, and millennial reign for 1,000 years! We celebrate the Fall Feasts by looking forward to the return of our Lord. (Leviticus 23)
We follow the Torah – Genesis through Deuteronomy – because we have learned the whole truth of our New Testament faith is based upon these 5 books of Scripture. Yeshua said (Matthew 5:17) that not one word of His Word (Torah) will pass away or be done away with until heaven and earth pass away. Yeshua also said, “If you love Me, keep my commandments.” That seems very clear to us and we celebrate His ENTIRE WORD! (1 Jn 5:3; Jn 14:15)
We call ourselves “Set Apart Believers” instead of Christians because every person has a different understanding of what “Christian” means. In 1 Peter 1:15,16 we are told to be Set Apart or holy. Again in Ephesians 1:4 that exact phrase is used. We call our Savior Yeshua because that is His original name given to Mary. We realized that she didn’t call Him by any other name. The name Jesus is a corrupted combination of Yeshua and Zeus created to remove the “Jewishness” from the Gospel and to satisfy the pagans and be able to combine the two belief systems. That seems like an intense insult to the Son of God, so most of us have learned, or are learning, to call Him by His real name. (Luke 1:31 – 33; Mt. 1:21)
We follow the dietary rules God laid down in the Torah because He said to. When we studied the science of the “forbidden” foods, we realized that God was protecting us, not just giving restrictive rules on a whim. The “forbidden” foods are all tainted or unclean for our body’s use and therefore potentially harmful. (Lev. 11)
We do not celebrate Christmas or Easter after learning enough of God’s Word to realize that both of those holidays are pagan from beginning to end and an insult to our perfect Lord. We celebrate Hanukkah because Yeshua was known to “keep” Hanukkah or the Feast of Dedication or Festival of Light (John 10:24) We are not interested in being “Jewish”, but we are interested in doing what our Savior did because He said “Follow Me!” (Luke 18:18-23)
We believe we were created to bring delight and pleasure to our God and our purpose is to love and serve Him. Our hearts yearn for Him and take delight in His Word which is His love letter to us. (Psalms 149:4)
We recognize that “God is Love” and His love is never ending. However, we also know that He is a just God, and He cannot be in the presence of sin, so there are consequences for our choices and behavior. He created us to love Him, but gave us free will so that we can choose Whom we serve. If we choose to serve His enemy, we will reap His enemy’s future in hell. He desires all of us to be “saved”, but He will not interfere with our free will because then our “love” would not be freely given. It is our heart that He desires, and it must be freely given! (1 John 4:16)
We believe Satan has dominion in general on this earth because Adam forfeited his dominion. However, Yeshua came to reclaim dominion and gave us authority over Satan and his demons. It is our responsibility to exercise that dominion and walk in the authority given to us. We were provided with 2 very powerful weapons to use in taking dominion: the NAME of YESHUA and HIS BLOOD. The name of Yeshua is the name above all names, and He is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings! If we do not understand or use either weapon, we will live defeated lives on earth even though we are his. (Gen. 3; Phil. 2:9, 10; Rev. 12:11)
God also provided us with the Armor of God to give us protection from the enemy. If we do not choose to put it on or use our Sword of the Spirit – which is the Word of God – then we will suffer the consequences! (Eph. 6:10-20)
We believe that we were Born Again to live in His Presence here on earth as well as in eternity. We achieve that through praise, worship, and obedience to His Word. Praise and worship are also used to defeat the enemy and drive him and his demons from our presence. (John 3:3; Ex. 33:14; Psalms 16:11)
We believe in the power of our tongue. God spoke the world into existence. He created us in His image and therefore, what we speak is creative also. (Genesis 1:3-28; Heb. 11:3) We will either bless or curse with our tongue. (James 3:10) (Proverbs 18:21; Mark 11:23, 24)
We open the Sabbath with dinner on Friday evening at 6 pm where all of us who are able assemble to welcome our time with the Lord. Because we live in Montana where the setting of the sun fluctuates so greatly with each season, we have chosen to open the Sabbath Friday at 6 pm, and close it Saturday at 6 pm which is close to the time of sunset in Israel! We believe Yeshua provided us everything we need to live in VICTORY while on this earth. The Lord is our Savior, our Messiah, our Provider, our Defender, our Healer. EVERYTHING WE COULD EVER NEED IS PROVIDED IN OUR LORD YESHUA! (Philippians 4:19)
