🚨"FILL THE FLATBED" VENUE CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

We’re excited to announce that Holly Hill Cares’ annual Fill the Flatbed Toy and Food Drive & Car Show is moving to a bigger location this year!

Due to the size of this event and the amazing community support we’re anticipating, we will now be hosting the event at East Davidson High School in Thomasville!

⏰ 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 East Davidson High School | 1408 Lake Road | Thomasville, NC

We’ll still have everything you’ve been looking forward to, including our car show judged by the legendary Kerry Earnhardt, great cars, music from DJ Weapon X , Colonial Grind refreshments on-site, and plenty of opportunities to give back to local families!

Bring a new, unwrapped Christmas gift to support Holly Hill Cares’ Christmas Gift Assistance Program for Davidson County children and children receiving care at Brenner Children’s Hospital through the Ronald McDonald House Piedmont Triad. You can also donate canned food to benefit the Fairgrove Family Resource Center.

Every entry helps Holly Hill Cares provide Christmas gifts for Davidson County children in need and children receiving care at Brenner Children’s Hospital through the Ronald McDonald House.

🎁 HELP US FILL THE Garrett's Towing FLATBEDS!
We're collecting new, unwrapped Christmas gifts for the Holly Hill Cares Christmas Gift Assistance Program, helping children throughout Davidson County.

🥫 We're also collecting canned food donations for the Fairgrove Family Resource Center.

🚗 CLASSIC CARS WELCOME!
If you've got a classic, muscle car, hot rod, truck, Jeep, or something special you want to show off, we'd love to have you!

🏆 CAR SHOW JUDGED BY KERRY EARNHARDT!
The $40 entry fee gets your vehicle entered into the official car show, where Kerry Earnhardt will select the Best in Show winner. And yes, the top car takes home a trophy! 🏆

☕ Colonial Grind will be on-site serving up their delicious coffee and drinks!

🎧 DJ Weapon X will be on-site with music throughout the event!

🎄 2026 HOLLY HILL CARES CHRISTMAS GIFT ASSISTANCE 🎄

The Christmas season is all about giving, and once again, Holly Hill Cares is honored to help make Christmas a little brighter for children in Davidson County. ❤️

Beginning October 1st, applications will open for our 2026 Christmas Gift Assistance Program.

This program is designed to provide Christmas gift assistance to families who may be experiencing financial hardship during the holiday season.

-Who Can Apply?

• Residents of Davidson County, NC
• Assistance is available for children ages 0–18
• One application per household

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING: To help us reach as many families as possible and prevent duplication of assistance, families who are already receiving Christmas gift assistance from another organization, church, school, agency, or community program are not eligible to receive assistance from Holly Hill Cares.

If your family is already receiving Christmas assistance elsewhere, please do not submit an application. All applications will be thoroughly vetted.

📅 Application Deadline: October 31st, 2026
📧 Approved applicants will be notified by email by Friday, November 6th, 2026.

Holly Hill Cares is proud to be part of the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive!

Come on out to the Ball Park Community Center in Thomasville and help us support this important community effort…And show the Thomasville Police Department and Thomasville Fire & Rescue some love!

Every donation can make a difference for someone in our community who needs it. Whether you’re a regular donor or it’s your first time, this is a great opportunity to roll up your sleeve and give back.

Come out, donate blood, and help us support a great cause!

Our community continues to be a shining light to those in need! This morning, (L-R) Megan Anderson, Eric Anderson and Jamal Tahirkheli of Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery and Holly Hill Cares, brought in 283 pounds of food that will help us tremendously in feeding precious families. Holly Hill held a food drive, then an additional $500 of groceries were added thanks to a $250 grant from Food Lion and a $250 match by Holly Hill Cares.
Thank you for your support of FGFRC, and a big thanks on behalf of our families that will benefit from your generosity!

We were honored this morning to deliver much-needed food to Fairgrove Family Resource Center!

A special thank you to our Thomasville Food Lion for their generous $250 grant, which Holly Hill Cares proudly matched, allowing us to provide $500 worth of groceries to help stock FFRC’s shelves and support local families.

We’re also grateful to those who contributed to Holly Hill Memorial Park’s food drive. Every donation, no matter the size, helped us make a difference.

We encourage our community to continue supporting Fairgrove Family Resource Center as they work to keep their shelves stocked for families who need a helping hand.

Together, we can make a difference right here at home. ❤️

This morning, Megan and Jamal spent some time at our local Thomasville Food Lion, filling multiple carts with groceries to help stock the shelves at Fairgrove Family Resource Center.

We are incredibly grateful to Food Lion for their generous $250 grant, which Holly Hill Cares was proud to match, allowing us to purchase $500 worth of groceries for families in our community.

A full pantry can mean a little less stress for a family that is struggling to make ends meet. We’re thankful to be able to play a small part in making sure our neighbors have access to the food they need.

Thank you to the Thomasville Food Lion for investing in our community, and thank you to Fairgrove Family Resource Center for the important work you do every day.

Boogie Bag Bingo at the Thomasville Woman's Club on Friday evening was such a wonderful event!

We’re so proud of our Holly Hill Cares President, Megan Anderson, for putting her “bag expert” skills to work and winning $1,000 for our organization!

A special thank you to Steve Teglas for hosting such an incredible event that brought our community together while giving back to so many great local causes.
